God’s Ancient Path is a independently owned and operated website that seeks to connect discerners with information and resources about all of the different religious callings within the Catholic Church.
We do this by providing information on the Diocesan Priesthood, Religious Orders, Third Orders, Permanent Diaconate and more.
Diocesan Priesthood
Diocesan Priests are often called the ‘boots on the ground’ ministers of the Church and often serve as pastors and chaplains.
Religious Orders
Within the Catholic Church, there are many different religious orders. Each of them have a unique calling and mission.
Third Orders
Are you attracted to a particular religious order, but feel called to live in the world as a lay individual? You may be called to join a Third Order.
Permanent Diaconate
The Permanent Diaconate is centered around service. They are ordained ministers within the Catholic Church. They proclaim the gospel, preach, and serve in their local communities.
